2. Phone Consultation
We will give you a call to talk about your remodeling dreams and ideas. We will then provide you with a rough estimate to reach those goals.
3. In Person Consultation
We will then set up an in person meeting to fine tune your project details, the estimated price range, and to sign a preliminary construction/design contract.
4. Design Phase
We have our designers travel to your house to take measurements, gather all your ideas, and start turning your dreams in to a reality. We will create a simple floor plan, draft blueprints with engineering if necessary, and render 3-D imaging.
5. Project Planning
Once the designs are approved, you will then start choosing specific appliances, hardware, colors, and material. During this time, Ironwood Custom Remodels will be acquiring all permits needed, finalizing the construction schedule, and ordering materials.
6. Construction Phase
We start by prepping your house with floor protection, dust barriers, and air filters if needed. Once your house is protected, it is then time for demo and remodeling. At the end of each remodel, we have a final walk through to ensure you are completely satisfied with the final project.
7. Enjoy Your New Space!
Once your dream remodel is completed, you will now be able to enjoy your new space. You will also have a 3-year warranty to have us fix any issues that may occur.

With a background in the United States Marines and over a decade of experience in the home remodeling industry, Ethan Randle brings honesty, compassion, and hard work to every home remodeling project. Following his honorable discharge from the Marines in 2014, he began his career in general contracting and eventually earned a degree in construction technology. In 2020, he relocated with his wife to the Durham, NC, area and founded Ironwood Custom Remodels. The company specializes in kitchens, baths, attics, basements, and whole-home makeovers, while Ethan strives to stand out from local competitors by ensuring that every customer will be met with friendly service, honest and transparent pricing, and extraordinary results. “I give the same honesty and compassion to every customer that I would want given to my own family,” he says.
